Surrendering Everything

UTC challenged me with the hardest, yet most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. It forced me to fully surrender not just bits and pieces of my life, or what I wanted to give up, but it forced me to surrender EVERYTHING to the Lord. A quote from that week that really hit me was “it’s not about you, it’s about something bigger.”

That was the piece of the puzzle that I really felt like I was “missing” in my walk. I was only surrendering when it seemed convenient for me, and not truly stepping into the act of surrender out of my love and faith in the Lord. I was convicted in the best way possible that week.
