God’s Life-Changing Power

UTC Colorado was the catalyst for huge growth in my walk with Jesus. I went the summer after my freshman year, and it helped me take that next step forward in my faith. Struggling with my purpose and identity surrounding college and my sport, UTC really opened my eyes to how God might want to use me during my time in college. It helped to shift my focus from what I wanted to get out of college and sport to how God could use me through college and my sport.

UTC prepared me for the challenges that would come my way in the future. From taking over and leading the soccer Bible study as a sophomore to trying to be a Godly leader on the team (while spending most of my time on the bench), UTC prepared me for these things in ways I didn’t understand at the time.

At the end of the day, UTC helps you experience God, community, and athletics simultaneously. From the people I met to the things I got to do, to the amazing things I learned, UTC was an action-packed week full of faith, growth, friendship, competition, and most importantly, Jesus. Now my goal is to get as many of my friends and teammates to go, so they can experience the life-changing power that God offers us.
