I Witnessed God Moving

“This past spring break, I had the amazing opportunity to serve with Athletes in Action on an international trip to Turin, Italy. We were able to partner with the Special Olympics, and I had the opportunity to meet and connect with individuals from all over the world. It was amazing to see how sport and faith can bring people together despite language or cultural barriers.

Throughout the trip, I was able to form deep, meaningful connections with the other volunteers from AIA. I witnessed God moving, not just in my own life, but in cities and hearts around the world. I was able to share my story and hear the experiences of others, which gave me a new perspective. One of my personal favorite memories was attending a local church service.

Getting to immerse myself in their culture and see how similar our worship was was such an eye-opening experience. Lastly, exploring the beautiful world that God created was a bonus to the trip as well. God’s love knows no boundaries, and it was amazing to see that firsthand!”
