Focus on Him

Ultimate Training Camp was an amazing experience and allowed God to work in my life in many ways. I came into camp recently, losing my grandmother and questioning a lot of what I was doing with my life. I grew up in the church, but in the middle of high school, I struggled with sin and questioned my faith.

The semester leading up to UTC, though, was full of conviction and time with God. I thought that I was getting my life together, but after UTC, I realized it was all a facade. I wasn’t truly giving my life to Christ, just pretending like I was.

Although UTC itself isn’t life-changing, the camp allowed us the opportunity to get closer to God and gave us a place to put all our focus on him and what he is doing in our lives.

Learning about the 5 principles of the Christian athlete strengthened my relationship with Christ and helped grow my faith and my confidence in sharing my faith. It also gave me a platform to use to run Bible studies on campus and spread the word through these resources.
